Ben Addison-Saipe

I am Ben Addison-Saipe and I am an aspiring cinematographer and editor studying a degree of Creative Media Production at Massey University. I’ve always had a passion for the way the world works and an appreciation for the beauty it produces. These passions inspired me to capture the world around me whether that be through photography as a small hobby and then onto making films. My passion for making films has only grown over time and by learning even more skills along the way.

 

I have had some small success’s with films that I have made as a short film I made in high school called “Karma” was shown in a student film festival called the briefs film festival where it won the “X-factor” award. Another film I worked on earlier last year called “Happy Hour” was recently shown in the fringe film festival, and I have hopes to continue making shorts to submit to these types of shows.

 

As of now I am always looking for opportunities to grow, learn and join new projects. Working to improve my camera, lighting and editing work and making more ambitious and successful projects along the way.
